"-Ro?" Dain's hand shook Sky's shoulder and she blinked herself out of her memory. She smiled at him. His brows contracted as he looked at the tightness around her eyes.
"Won't you tell me what happened?" He asked softly.
Sky patted his hand and said, "It's not important. Which one looks goo-"
"Murderess!" Jin's slightly accented voice called. Sky smiled in amusement. Jin had begun calling her that last term when she, herself, had been suspected of perpetrating the attacks. Sky and Dain looked down the hallway to see Aven and Jin approaching them. Dain's right hand fisted and he looked at the ground as his jaw clenched.
Sky, seeing his trouble expression squeezed his left hand reassuringly.
"I know you're shy Dain, but Aven is really nice and Jin, well he just likes his jokes." Dain shook her hand off and quickly grabbed two to-go meals.
