Inside the car, Renz was leaning on Selene. She was already crying, seeing Renz bathing in his own blood. Eros could see how worried she was for him.
Her tears kept on flowing down her face as she whispered, "Renz, don't leave us… Fight it… stay awake."
Both Eros and Selene were pressing his gunshot wound to stop the bleeding. Eros put his hand over hers as if he was trying to reassure and comfort her.
He didn't want to see her cry. After a while, Eros winced, making Selene look at him. With her teary eyes, she asked him, "Are you alright?"
She noticed that Eros looked pale and he was sweating a lot. She recalled that Eros was not feeling well yesterday. He had a fever. She felt guilty for making him worry.
"Don't worry. I'm just fine," Eros lied as he didn't want her to worry further.
"Can you drive faster?" Eros turned to Scorpion who was driving the car.
Scorpion stepped on the gas, speeding up.
