Jiang Ying Yue stared at the silhouette of the hellhound shifter who was swiftly walking through the dense forest, making his way deeper into the mountains. Letting out a small sigh, she decided to follow the shifter.
She never discussed her plan about visiting this place with anyone, not even with her mates. She only decided to visit the so-called secret terrain when she found abundant energy flowing through her body when she woke up in the morning. Yet, Empress Dowager still found out about her plan.
Just the thought of that creepy woman stalking her to this extent made her shiver in disbelief. She really needed to set some boundaries with Empress Dowager if she wanted some sort of privacy in her life.
Deciding to visit Empress Dowager the next day, Jiang Ying Yue continued to follow the shifter. She wasn't really thrilled by the idea of the old demon finding out about her plan but she sure wasn't going to complain about the help that she received.
