The journey towards the Fault Lines is long but Mo Yinan has now the God of Darkness passing him helpful exposition about this and that along the way. He's conveniently led towards a Rift that would bring him closer to the Fault Lines.
So he treks the barren landscape, away from discernible roads.
Mo Yinan feels anew in his body, a power brims just beneath his veins, ready to explode. He's like a live wire, thirsty for blood. His hair, grown long, is tipped with vermilion, an inhuman ruby glow inhabiting his eyes. The landscape is harsh and the horizon seemingly endless, with jagged cliffs that line the edges. The grey sky is equally endless, with no sun in sight.
Mo Yinan, undaunted, marches on.
There's a part in his heart that aches and mourns, that begs him to turn around and find his way back towards his beloved.
But Mo Yinan keeps journeying on, alone.
