The house they inhabit is small and cramped, barely big enough for both Li Yu and Dong Hengmu. But it suited their needs and neither of them has complained about their living arrangements.
The little residence was one they found abandoned along the mountain road. The thatched roof was, for the most part, torn away from weather and age. The furniture was practically nonexistent, having been no doubt raided by both vagabonds, thieves, and erosion. But Li Yu and Hengmu have since slowly cleaned the place up. They fixed the roof and cleaned the dirty interior. They even built furnishings and brought in items from traveling merchants and nearby villages.
