I used the Teleportation Stone dropped by the Mana Beasts to go back to Nakatami's house. But even when we got there, he wasn't there. I tried calling him, but he didn't answer his phone. If what Kim had told me was true, then he was still alive but he was dying. I needed to find him. A brilliant idea formed in my mind. The amulet! I could use it in the same way I found Kim.
I pulled it out of my pocket. I thought about Nakatami and rubbed the writing. The room lit up. My eyes hurt for a bit but then I got used to the light and looked at the writing. As I expected, it repeated 'Nakatami' over and over. Then, a familiar notification bell rang.

I pressed the 'Y' letter.
[Beginning teleportation process...]
[Teleportation successful.]
The scene changed. We were now in an empty café. Nakatami was opposite us, drinking coffee.
'It's a nice place, isn't it?' Nakatami suddenly asked.
'Where are we?' I asked back.
'Yeah, this looks like something out of a dream.' Kim added.
'It's Heaven. Or the Heavenly Domain, to be exact.'
'It's a café?' Kim asked.
Nakatami smiled.
'This is my Heaven.'
'Nakatami, what happened in that portal? Where did it take you?'
Nakatami's face darkened.
'To a warzone.'
'Don't tell me...' Kim said, eyes wide.
'I died.'
Kim had told me before that Nakatami was sucked into a portal underneath his feet when I cast the teleportation spell. I didn't know he had died. For the second time.
