In the next few minutes, Li Meilin and Lim Xian were catching their breaths as they finally stopped running away the second they reached outside the house. It was then when Li Meilin realized it was already past eleven in the morning.
Lim Xian was laughing his a** off when they stopped running, making Li Meilin turn towards his direction with a curious look on her face. Surely, she had never seen Lim Xian this happy from the moment they saw each other.
"It's great to see you laughing like this, master," Li Meilin said. A friendly smile was plastered on the corners of her mouth.
Once Li Meilin pointed that out, it was at that exact moment when Lim Xian stopped laughing and tried his best to switch back to his usual, stoic self.
"Well, i gotta admit, it was my first time ditching Ms. Yu like that," Lim Xian responded. "I never imagined it would be this fun to do that though."
