It was already four in the afternoon when Lim Xian and Li Meilin arrived at the Lim Residence. Mr. Xu, the family butler, was the one who picked them up at the bus station and drive them home to safety.
Before that, Li Meilin was actually kind of surprised to know that it has been pure solitude al throughout their entire trip back to his house. Lim Xian had never once spoken to her nor looked at her in the eye as they were departing the island just a few moments ago. Every time she tries to approach him, her master would either turn her down or shoo her away just like that.
There are no more arguments between them, no more silly catfights that they got themselves into. Li Meilin should have been happy since it was always what she wanted ever since she was employed here, but she found out that that wasn't the case here.
