It was too late for Li Meilin to realize that what she just said to Lim Xian is totally lame and cringe and sounded like she was hitting on him when she is even not into him at all. She cursed herself under her breath for being too careless like that.
"I wasn't hitting on you or something like that. You are still not my type," Li Meilin quickly came to her defense when it was really unnecessary to say it.
Lim Xian, on the other hand, furrowed his eyebrows at her. Why does this girl had the power to make and ruin the moment all at the same time?
"I was not even thinking like that and you--"
"Good. I just wanted to make myself clear, that's all," Li Meilin cuts him off midway before he even have the chance to complete his sentence.
"That's it. It's time for us to go home and rest, shall we?" Lim Xian offered with a tight-lipped smile plastered on his face before his mood was totally ruined.
"Sounds fine to me," Li Meilin responded.
