Chapter 26 - Finally out

"Welcome, Mr.Shin. It's a pleasure to have you here. " Soo Min says with a gentle and polite smile across her face. The maids stand beside them and bow their heads once the guest walks in followed by Soo Min and Chan Ho.

"It's mine as well. " The man replies with a smile greeting them back professionally.

"Go and serve the table. " Soo Min says to the maid walking beside her, with that being said everyone dispersed to their respective work while the couple leads the guest to the living room.

Shin Joo Hyeok, the man who had taken over the business industries with all his achievements and qualification, a well-renowned business entrepreneur. Who wouldn't be blessed to be in a partnership with him when the whole world beg to work in his company.

And the very Park family was well-blessed with him agreeing to their partnership agreement after long years of trial, maybe their persistent determination of wanting to work with the Shin entrepreneur had done something to CEO Shin? But now that they were finally getting their wish come true, they were on cloud nine.

What could go better than this?

The room was well set with modern classic vibes and the chandelier above on the ceiling made the room even more artistic, Joo Hyeok looks around taking in the sight with a slight nod. "You sure have a good preference over the designs and artifacts."

Chan Ho smiles proudly seeing the other pleased, "Yeah. And it feels great to have someone acknowledge one's interest and preferences. " He replies back with a wide smile while the other chuckles.

"Mr. Park, you sure are good with words and compliments. " Joo Hyeok replies with an amused smile while Chan Ho chuckles shaking his head.

Soo Min smiles listening to their conversation, "Should we get to dinner? We can talk over it. " She says with a smile while the other two nod their head in agreement and follow Soo Min as she leads the way.

"I heard, Mr. Shin had a son. " Soo Min says as they take a seat each on the dining table decorated beautifully, the table cloth white and knitted beautiful and the plates well crafted just suited along with the table cloth. In the middle, there was a huge pot with beautiful flowers matching well as well as intensifying the beauty of the table.

"Of course, I do but he seemed a bit busy with his work so he pleads not to disturb me with waiting for him. " He replies with a chuckle while the couple nods their head in understanding. "Maybe you can come again with your son for the dinner. " Soo Min says with a smile.

"Sure, why not. " He replies back.

And one by one the maids starts bringing in the food bowls and placing them on the table while some were working on serving the food. "You sure want me to die with all these delicious-looking foods. " Joo Hyeok replies eyeing the feast in front of him and his words sure made the couple burst into laughter.

"It would be our pleasure to feed your delicious food. And please do not hesitate. " Soo Min says gesturing him to start digging in, "Mr. Shin, I must say you really are an easy-going person to get along with. We are glad to have such an opportunity to acknowledge and know you. "

Joo Hyeok laughs shaking his hands denying his words, "Do not flatter me, Mr. Park. I am not that good. " And once again with their talk, the house echoed with laughter.

"Anyway, I did hear about your daughter. I can't see her around?" Joo Hyeok says looking around and that had the couple sweat, "Uh-yeah. She had extra classes so she told us she would be late. She might be on her way. " Soo Min says with a fake smile and this caught Joo Hyeok's attention.

He felt uncomfortable with the way they tensed up at the mention of their daughter and he was wondering why?

"Excuse me for a minute. " Soo Min says flashing a smile as she stands up walking away, "So, how do you wish to strengthen our partnership, Mr. Shin?" Chan Ho questions trying to distract Joo Hyeok from the disturbance.

While Soo Min walks back to the living room and eyes around to see no one, just then her eyes found Seokjin walking into the hallway with a sac on his back, "Jin!" Soo Min yells out calling for him and Jin smiles knowing what was her intention. He looks back trying not to show his smile and remain neutral.

"Come here!" She gestures him to approach her and he does happily, placing the sac against the pillar of the hallway he runs towards Soo Min. "Go and bring her out and make sure she looks good enough to be presented!" Soo Min yells not sparing him a chance to speak as she walks back inside the dining hall.

"Excuse me for my absence. What have you been talking about?" Soo Min says smiling politely as she walks back into the hall hearing them laugh. "Just some business things. " Chan Ho replies with a smile while Soo Min takes her seat joining the conversation.

Seokjin runs to the guard, "Miss Park wants Yoo Na out and prepared for the dinner so hand me the keys. " He says not being able to contain his happiness. The guard frowns being suspicious and Jin's smile fades away into a frown.

"And you sure? I don't want to get into trouble-"

"I ain't lying and Ma'am approached me and asked me to bring her out. " Seokjin cuts him off but the guard didn't stop frowning, "But-"

"Don't say I didn't warn you, try defying her order and you might then get into trouble. " Jin barks his words out in annoyance with his will to get her out getting farther, he extends his hands towards the guard, and his fingers contract expand gesturing him to give him the keys.

The guard sighs nodding his head and he fidgets inside his pocket taking out the keys and placing them on Seokjin's palm. "Thank you!" he yells before dashing out of the guard's sight and running towards the storage room.

Yoo Na was already gritting her teeth and they were cutting a few pieces of her nails, still, she didn't intend to take her hands away. her head filled with different thoughts as she eyed the candle almost burned beyond its existence, she sighs without taking her eyes away from the candle.

"Why aren't they taking me out?" She groans and by now with her nervousness increasing she had her feet patting against the floor, she widens her eyes when she heard his voice.

"Bear! I am coming wait for me. " She smiles and sighs in relief at his words, she stands on her feet and walks back to the door, she stands patiently waiting for the door to open up. She heard the keys dangling sound with the lock being opened.

The door slams open with Seokjin's figure walking in, Yoo Na smiles widely before jumping upon him and hugging him tightly. "I am not late right?" Seokjin questions patting her back while Yoo Na shakes her head with her slightly teary eyes.

"Just on time. " She says pulling away and looking back at the candle which was lost down, it kept fluttering and he smiles watching the candle. "Then I am right at the time. " He says smiling widely.

"Brother... can you hide a pack of candles and matchboxes in this room? I am scared... I will shortly return back here. " Yoo Na says looking up at him and Seokjin's smiles fade away at her words. He sighs looking down at his feet and then back at her.

"Why? Why did you speak up to them... you know how scared I was?" He questions looking at her.

"Brother, I decided to speak up for us. I am not that Yoo Na anymore. I will fight for myself and I don't care what I go through... as long as I have you with me. " She smiles grabbing his hand while Seokjin presses his lips into a thin line while tear escapes his eyes.

"I am so proud of you, you know that?" He mumbles wiping his tears away. "And I promise I will be by your side. " He replies caressing her head. "Let's go already... this place gives me shivers. "

"Sure. " He mumbles walking and picking up her bag and he walks back to the door, he grabs her hand and pulls her out along with him.

"And preparing beforehand is a good thing. I will have a torch hidden there as well. " Seokjin says winking at her as they walk to the house.
