THOUSANDS OF YEARS AGO, the wonderous world of Oming were formed, a brightness in a darkened universe, a supposed gift from the gods themselves.
Oming was once a magnificent Pangea before the grand battle that caused the Sundering, with plenty of land for each clan to live in comfort. It took hundreds of years for man, demon, beast, and demigod to roam the land, influencing it, shaping it, molding it to whichever needs each creature required.
To the north, the snowy mountains of the Shoulands were ruled by the beast clan. To the west was Avadis, which was shrouded by mist and overrun with jungle. The shaman clan ruled the land and aided the gods known as Loa, who roamed freely with their followers. However, in the southern regions, the deserts of Emokrax were ruled, dominated, and conquered by the merciless, warmongering demonic clan. And to the east, the humans of Revenji lived blissfully unaware of the world outside protected inside a magical dome, created and maintained by the shamanesses, the spirit-shifters, and militant human sages to stop the demons from discovering their mundane world — as humans were considered a delightful dessert to them.
However, it didn't take long for the Demons to realize something was amiss.
