Chereads / Magic Trick [BL] / Chapter 45 - Like A Virgin

Chapter 45 - Like A Virgin

"HOW DID YOU TRICK THE VEGAS TEAM? THEY GOT BOTH KEYS."

I'm still confused. What did Ellis do? Was it a decoy?

"I know… They matched, right?" Ellis was giggling crazily, and I still didn't know why.

"Stop giggling like your nipples were tingling, bitch!" I shouted. "I'm still confused. Tell me why you gave them the key."

"Because those two keys were not the real ones," Trick said.

My eyes dilated and my mouth opened wide. "Oh, gosh. How sure are you?"

"One hundred percent. I remembered you complaining about the colors earlier, and when I saw the key that the Vegas team had, I second-guessed. The keys that we have are just plain yellow. The ones that we need to get should be goldenrod," Ellis explained.

Gosh. I wanna thank the Gods of Drag, because Ellis can identify the shades of colors. Whew!

"I'm really impressed," I uttered. He deserved that commendation. I gotta give it to him.

"And… one minute is done. Let's go, bitch," Ellis stood up and I almost tripped. We both stretched our bodies, as we've been in the same position for quite some time.

We went down to another level and we almost reached the exit. As we walked, we saw Manaia from Auckland, together with two guys. Perhaps these are his co-members, as they have the same built. They have lots of tattoos and their skin are well-tanned.

      "Manaia!" I called him.

"Hey, Trick, Ellis," said Manaia in a sad tone.

"What seems to be the problem here, gentlemen?" Ellis said in a flirty way.

"Stop being a slut in the meantime, will you?" I whispered.

"We cannot pass through the gate. The guards won't allow us. We already have the treasures, but they said that these are wrong," said one of the guys.

"What's your name, dear?" Ellis asked.

"I'm Nikau and this is Rawiri. We are Manaia's cousins," introduced Nikau.

"Nice to meet you, gentlemen. Why have I not seen you before in the Xing mansion? Only our dear Manaia arrived then," Ellis winked at the men.

"Ellis!" I looked at him angrily, and he stopped with the flirtatious look.

Ellis cleared his throat. "Let me see the treasures."

Rawiri handed Ellis the three treasures. "Here you go."

"Oh, there is really a mistake here. One of the keys is not harlequin. It's chartreuse," Ellis detected the moment the treasures landed on his hand.

"What?" Manaia was shocked to hear that. "They all looked the same to me."

"No, chartreuse is different from harlequin. Look!" Ellis removed one of his bows which has the same color as chartreuse. "See? They're not the same."

      "Woah!" shouted the three men.

Manaia took the wrong key and threw it away. Nikau and Rawiri held both of Ellis's hands and kissed them. Ellis giggled as if he were being courted by these beefcakes.

"Thank you for your help," both said.

"Aw, you guys are so polite," Ellis winked.

"And we still need to look for the treasures, yes?" I said, before Ellis would flirt with the Campbells.

"Yes, we'll see each other outside, okay?" said Manaia and the Campbells ran.

"You really can't keep being a hoe, can you? We have less than fifteen minutes left!" I shouted.

"I'm gonna f/uck those Campbells after this," Ellis even slurped.

"Hmm. Manaia looks like a virgin, though. Maybe, his cousins were too," I uttered. Just an observation.

"All the more reason I must do them," Ellis bit his lip.

We were about to move, but we heard a squeaking sound nearby. We stopped and followed the squeak. It led us to a corner near the stairs, and we saw…

      "Oaks!" I whispered.

Oakley then transformed into his real form. "Trick! Ellis! I've got the box."

"Let me see," Ellis checked the box and it is the goldenrod box. Ellis returned the box to Oakley and hid it.

"Nice one, Oaks," I commended him.

"Thanks. I was waiting for you near the door, but more and more teams were approaching. Some made it and some don't. The Irish already left. Rakisha and her homies were still looking for one of the remaining treasures. I saw the two Vegas brothers earlier, so I hid here near the stairs," Oakley said.

"Okay, hide there for now. We'll meet you here in ten. We're gonna look for the keys. We got the wrong ones before. We even had an encounter with the Vegas team. Those assholes," I uttered.

"Got it. I'll stay here for now. Good luck and hurry," Oakley spoke, then he transformed into a mouse again.

Ellis and I roamed around the building once more. We checked the rooms and most of them were devastated. Perhaps, due to the fighting of the magical beings in this building.

Then, Ellis and I talked. "We've been to all the floors and we didn't see the keys. I haven't noticed anything sparkling in the rooftop earlier, though, so the top floor is negative."

"Ugh. Right now, I really can't think of the treasures. Vegas bastards really got into my nerves," Ellis cursed. "I'm gonna bury them six feet under once I see them again."

After Ellis said that, a thought popped in my mind. "Six feet under, huh? Come, bitch. You just gave me an idea!"

I pulled her towards the fire exit stairs and we arrived at the…

"Welcome to basement, bitch," I said.

      "Jackpot, baby," Ellis whispered.

The basement was a car park, but there were no cars around. Just treasures of various colors. There were a lot of them attached to the posts and the walls.

The challenge here now is to identify which is which. I see a lot of yellow keys, but I really can't tell which is goldenrod. However, Ellis picked a bow with the same color, so I had a reference.

We separated and checked all the posts and walls. For every key that I had, I put the goldenrod bow beside it and see if they match. Unfortunately, the ones that I saw don't.

"Oh! One of the harlequin keys are here," Ellis shouted.

"Take it. You must give it to the Campbells later," I said.

"Hah! I'm gonna make them work hard for it. They should do me together, at the same time! Hah! I'm imagining it right now. Oh, I can feel how hard their… arms are!" He then giggled.

"Hey!" I stopped him in his illusion. "You may not even see them again if we can't find our keys first!"

Ellis took one of the harlequin keys and hid it inside his bra. I ran to the opposite side and checked if the goldenrod keys were there. Sadly, the keys weren't in that area.

However, the more I see the yellow keys, the more I get familiar with their shades. Some really don't look like yellow. Some are a little green, some are a little orange. I get to compare them all especially when they are attached together.

"Hey, Trick, did you find the keys?" Ellis shouted.

"Not yet," I shouted back. "The yellow keys are different than your bow."

      "Keep looking," Ellis said.

That, I did. It's like I'm looking for a needle in a haystack. These keys are really annoying me!

Then, I thought of something. I went near him and said, "Hey, Ellis! What if these are all decoys? What if our keys aren't really here?"

"We got no more options, didn't we?" Ellis sassed. "Stop whining, Trick! You better work, bitch!"

"Whatever, Britney! I'm just trying to break the ice," I clapped back.

Ugh. It was really hard. This is not the tournament I am expecting. I practiced really hard to manage my powers well and all they asked us to do was to play Where's Waldo? This is so frustrating.

According to my estimate, we only have twelve minutes left. I can't really figure out the time right now, as my mind is focused on the keys, but it only means one thing. We need to hurry!

"Shit! I thought this was goldenrod! This is mustard!" Ellis picked the wrong key from the post and threw it on the wall. I followed where the key went and…

      "Oh, gosh…" That's all I can say.

"Oh, my motherf/ucking graces…" Ellis grabbed the bow from my hand and put it beside the two keys attached to the wall.

"Jackpot, baby," I whispered and gave Ellis a high-five.

He took the keys right away and hid them in his bra. It's a good thing we didn't give up looking in the basement. Second-guessing, most of the time, really is not okay. And right now is not the time for it.

"Let's meet Oakley now! We still have ten more minutes," I said to Ellis.

"I can't wait to get out of this f/ucking building," Ellis grunted, then we walked towards the stairway, but wait for it… The luck expired right after that when someone uttered these words…

      "Not so fast…"
