A/N: Lore Heavy Chapter
Having granted Tenebrae soldiers of relevance, I tossed in the thirty-first battalion for good measure. I wasn't sure who this Nephilim attacked was, but Heavens Gate, Metatron's little group of followers, is a dangerous batch.
Unlike Fallen or any Myriad race, Angels can't have followers and are to remain devoted to the Father's degree of false gods. They are bound by the Law of Concordance that ensures justice. But justice is within the eye of the beholder.
And despite Angels not being able to have worshipers, it doesn't stop them from manipulating others in the name of the Father. And heavens Gate is the fruit of that: When the High Humans tarnished themselves with continuous incest, they slowly lost their mighty power, slowly turning themselves into Celestials. The Highest Degree of Angels, the Seraphim, decided to push humanity into a new age.
Heavens Gate: The organization that was created to translate the Word of God. Brought about the concept of marriage, chastity, and honor. They created order within the growing chaos, but by then, when humanity had finally come around to these strange concepts. The Celestials, being derived from the Highborns, were born. Weaker creatures whose minds retained lower intelligence, reaction time, and physical ability. However, their affinity towards the Elements, Heavens, and Hell remained unchanged.
Years later, with the involvement of the Fallen, extraterrestrial races, and the Devil's rather foul nature, new species began repopulating the realm.
And once again, Heavens Gate emerged, and in their possession: a small boy, a child said capable of combatting the Kings, Princes, Dukes, and Lordlings of Hells. Solomon, the First Mage, the Celestial with the One's blessing: The very King who ruled over space and time. The Ruler of the False Gods and the First Ranker.
However, Soloman grew too powerful too fast, and Heavens Gate turned on him. They tricked the Wise Yet Naive King, causing his first wife and daughter to perish and their soul to rupture. That day, Solomon lost the Ones Blessing, arming himself witht the Fallen known as Mephisto. Solomon waged a baptism of slaughter over the earth, destroying Heaven's Gate.
And thus, with the destruction of the first order, Soloman had successfully enraged the Scribe of Heaven, forcing him to descend, ready to pass judgment over Soloman, until the Lion of God, Ariel, appeared and brokered peace. Ariel had convinced Metatron with the help of Mephisto, forcing the lingering remains of Heaven's Gate to recede into the shadows, only to appear with a new leader… Belius.
A/N: Mentioned by Ishar
Upon the fall of Soloman's Kingdom, having fallen for Mephisto's sister, Ariel. A mortal with a literal Goddess. Solomon renounced the ways of the King, becoming a wanderer of realms. But despite all that had transpired, Heavens Gate never forgot the humiliation that day. And as the new Ruler of Heavens Gate, Belius, an Arc-Celestrial, hunted Soloman Down.
It was said their battle ruptured the fabric of the world, bringing about the extinction of man. Over two hundred years, their battle held the world in anarchy, and with the sudden disappearance of the Forsaken and the Highborn: Earth was reborn anew.
Angered by the monstrous Belius, Solomon created the first seal in an attempt to force Belius into the wheel of reincarnation. And yet that too failed, as Belius, with his might, shattered the wheel, and the souls, ensuring reincarnation was but a fleeting dream.
Heavens Gate, supported by many Archangels observing, were so horrified many left the organization finding great shame in their actions, and attempted to find an acolyte to assist Soloman in his endless battle against Belius. And that, too, failed.
Slowly against the disbelief of everyone, Belius had managed to find affinity with the Hells, tarnishing himself into that of a Demon, becoming the first demon to hold the title of King.
Amused if not impressed by the insanity that dwelled within Belius. Belphegor and Abbadon took him in against the warning of Mephisto and the now decease Lilith. The advice they did not heed. And so, the Origin Realm was granted the peace that shattered with the first emergence of a Hell Gate.
Demon King Belius had returned with the support of many Fallen, his power rivaling Bael and Asmodeus, the twin pillars of the devils. Belius fell into deeper madness, later birthing a demon named Baphomet with an unknown demon.
Enraged by the creation, Lilith turned against her Kin, emerging within the material plane. She single-handedly slaughtered all of Belius' men, enslaved Baphomet by blood, and with the help of Solomon, sealed him within Hell. In the aftermath, that shook the realm. Heaven's Gate fell again under fire, losing more angels and allies amongst those he considered to be mortals.
A Council or perhaps a senate consisting of Soloman and those he considered both wise and strong, Fallen and Angels, was soon born: It was a council that reigned supreme, ensuring Law within Chaos and Chaos within the Laws.
A bill within the senate was soon passed ensuring peace within the Origin Realm, and all wars among higher beings were to either be held within an isolation barrier or a higher or lower realm. Neither parties were truly happy, none but Soloman, who understood balance.
Being the only Celestial in a sea of entities that could kill him in a snap, Soloman found purpose within the Council, declaring various proclamations onto mankind, his support backed by Fallen or Angels. Although, The Angels and Fallen didn't have as big a vote as the Mortals, resulting in the opposition beginning to groom supporters. And so a political war fair was issued. And the loss of life dwindled to such small levels none cared to speak out.
Heavens Gate, however, became known as taboo. Mephisto had ensured that the slaughter issued by Demon King Belius would forever be remembered in the hearts of everyone, knowing it would take hundreds of Hell cycles for Metatron to grow his power.
…
Turning to stare at Arsene's lifeless eyes flickering back and forth between life and death, to the lean young man, with long obsidian hair that reached well past his feet carrying flame-like characteristics. The young man, shadowed by his hair, bowed his head before Arsene.
"Demon King Belius, have you calmed?"
"Calmed?" The harsh, stone-like voice of Belius said. He lifted his head, his features still shadowed by his hair. "My Lord," He said as a strange madness gathered into authority itself. "Have you ever known a demon to be calm?"
