It was the first hour of dawn when we arrived within the dew fields of auburn and violet flowers cascading over the horizon, glinting beneath the golden rays hitting against the dew. A paradise onto itself disturbed by only the rustling of the winds presented itself to this king.
"You're here!" Came a surprised voice. I spun to it with the sudden teleportation. My eyes caught sight of Vita and Damaris side by side with nothing else but the endless field around.
"What a beautiful sight," Lilith mentioned, unable to pull her gaze away from heaven's natural gift. She stared briefly, glanced at me smiling, and turned to Vita and her group." I brought him. I suspect we might need someone like him."
"I'm here too!" Ishar sang, lifting her hand. "This is Villium, isn't it? I've not been here for a long time."
"You came here before?" I asked her, unsure why we were brought here. I don't sense the gathering of the Chaos Drew.
"Yup. When I first became a King, my first deal was with the lordling of this land. He wanted talent to become a Chaos Lord. Something well within the powers of Hell to grant, mines as well. I granted it to him. But took his entire cultivation and ninety percent of his lifeforce as the price." Ishar said a faint chuckle in her voice. " This Red Color you see has quite a special meaning. It signifies his sorrow and death by the woman he sought power for. When she slit his neck, finding him weak and old, the once snow-white field turned red. And then violet as the lingering love turned to hate."
"Just what we need, a depressing story before battle," I said, unable to find her point.
She looked at me, a shadow of a cruel smile arched on her lips. " But aren't sad stories better? It makes you think. It makes you feel."
I just knew something was also wrong with her! You can't hide it from me, woman! All of you! All of you are batshit crazy! I'm the only sane one! The sane cannibal!
"So you're the Maiden of Blood," Damaris said, circling Ishar with a critical eye. She looked her over. "What brings you—"
"She'll be helping us." Lilith began. " Did you bring the armor? Arsene, we need to—"
A low rumble quelled her voice, lifting the pollen into the air as we lifted our heads from the clouds to the skies to the amassing battalions in the Bed of Chaos. Sheets of silver helms casting a reflective glance over its mighty frame presented itself. Star Ships, over two hundred carrying the crest of two angelic wings and a halo to crown them, branded over its surface.
We stared, at the growing army, noticing that the Seraphim wasn't alone. It wasn't prominent, but I could feel the foul aura of the Teleth.
I wasn't sure why, but no matter how many times I felt their aura. It sickens me to my core. It was as though their mere existence went against not just the One but All.
Damaris approached. " So they're working together." She placed her arm on my shoulder, and a blinding flash shimmered over the surface of my skin, and before I knew it. Scale armor, almost akin to dragons. Or better yet, a devil or demon appeared over my flesh. Spikes of obsidian red bone protruded from my shoulder and elbow, seething an abyssal flame where I stood.
"You can take a hit from an Infringement God," Lilith said and then smiled. "Although the armor would survive, you'd die."
I chuckled at the dry humor, trailing my fingers up the scale armor, and opened my palm to conjure Pride into my hand. The Nine Sun that had arisen over the horizon of Iluthath dimmed as Eternal Night blanketed the realm, devouring this Lowly realms stars ensuring all light within the Bed of Chaos died, as the Spear of Pride congealed its power blazing with the very might of the Abyss.
"An Abyssal Sin," Vita muttered. The unmatch reverence in her voice was audible.
"Seems the Elder Brother does have fangs." Ishar chimed. "But if you wish to make a difference in what's to come. I suggest you release demon king Belius; he out to be in prison in your Hells."
"Oh? I've never heard of him." I told her, sensing the rising Seraphic Might.
"He's powerful, not Archangel powerful, but he's definitely a real force to be reckoned with. He has the best hand-to-hand combat in the known Myriad." Ishar told me, flicking her hand. A quiver through space and time resounded like a snap throughout the laws of causality. And but a heartbeat, a throbbing wave of cold washed over the horizon crushing the foul aura of the Teleth and the Holy aura of the Angels.
I shuttered, catching sight of the hundreds of thousands of Blood Reavers.
"HAIL! MY QUEEN!" They resounded like the Hellish Rain of damnation.
A bloody grin marred Ishar's soft features. "Alimooth, my loyal general, born of my rage!" Ishar started in a fiendish undertone sending jitters through my heart.
Alimooth, a man of red skin and eyes of utter black, grinned, his feature not in the least handsome like most devils appeared to be but harsh… ugly beyond reason, lined with ink vine scar all throughout his hideous grimace, he saluted his queen.
"By your call, m'lady! Two hundred battalions shall descend into the material plane. They shall all wield Infringment Blades Forged by her majesty lady Adrulea."
"Oh?! That bitch still forging!" Ishar rumbled, flashing her fangs. She whirled towards me. "Well? Is this enough for you, boy!"
Shaken by the sudden intensity, I couldn't help but chuckle before a burst of mighty laughter resounded from my throat.
They were all Fell Gods and Infringement Gods. All two hundred thousand. And I was sure this was just a drop in the bucket for Ishar… or Mephisto. This was the power of those that retained their Hells since they fell.
'HAIL!"
Another flash swept into being as a Hell Gate appeared, revealing… Hideous Almgomation of limbs and bones protruding from each of their beings. Toes as ears, feet as tentacles. " The Vetimozanta, subjects of the Sovereign of Terror, Lord Beelzebub slaves are here to assist!"
Unease swept through me, sensing the angel's parts within these demons…. Where these things… Beezububs brethren? And there called the Vetimozanta.
"I am Drovadava, Subject of his most terror!"
Another flash caught my eye, followed by another and another, and another and… another over and over until over sixty-nine Hells Gates appeared.
"HAIL!!"
