They stared, all of them, Karr, Layla, and Darkmane. All of their eyes turned wide as my words left my lips one by one. Mercy was not an unfamiliar trait to me; while I distaste the idea of showing mercy, it had its advantages.
"You can't," Said Layla, the rather delectable dark elf with greyish skin and scarlet eyes. Unable to stand the heavy silence that followed after my words, she was the first to speak. "They are innocence."
Catching sight of the weapons in each hand, a frown slipped over my face, feeling the power of Chaos contained by Layla's aura over those weapons, locked by her excellent control. The sword and shield merely shimmered under her grip.
"Your name?"
"Layla Ozul"
my gaze skimmed over my dukes, who all met my gaze with defiance. Striking at me was rather pointless. Noctem was mine. All the knowledge of a Monarch was mine; control of Noctem was at my disposal. I could do just about anything with a snap.
"My Lord, if I may," Chancellor Karr uttered.
"No, my dukes betrayed me, and they have yet to bend a knee, from the looks of it. What am I supposed to think." I said, carrying a rather joyous smile watching their expression wither one by one. "A coming Dao Cycle is approaching, And much is going to change. Races of Abyss and Shadowfell will begin popping into creation one by one." Resting my gaze over the skies torn by these gods, the mechanics of subspace, including its vectors and higher forms of matrices, fueled my understanding of the laws of space. Waving my hand, the divinity of Noctem saturated the ruined space and began to mend.
"I challenge you, Arsene Snow!" Leofric Darkmane thundered, and I stared at him as though he were a fool, then at the other dukes behind him.
"I am going to give the rest of you one chance. Only one." I could not help but repeat, taking Leofric's challenge as a joke. "I have no use for broken men. So you can either kneel and carry out your oath to the darkness. Or you become the last of your bloodline while I strip you from your position and find new dukes. "
"Your bluffing, " a red-skinned duke with an elongated skull, deep socket eyes, and bone exterior said. He drew close, stopped near Layla, and crossed his arms. "Our families have been dukes since the—"
"Yeah, I don't care." I snapped. " You will either bend a knee or face charges of treason. I will lay siege to your family, and when I am strong enough. I will take your lives. These are your options." I calmly said and turned to the Knights of Luna, who had not moved. I sent them an invitation. Then return my gaze to these dukes, "All of you but Leofric will be given a half-days time to decide. Oh, and I am now the ruler of Noctem. I will know if you hide or try to sneak away some family members.
"Enough!" Leofric thundered, "I have grown tired of this bullshit drama! You are but a star-lord. Die!" he howled and charged, piercing his glaive towards my skull. A strike that would otherwise kill me was parried blocked by the dark elf and chancellor Karr, while ninety knights materialized glaring darkly at Duke Darkmane.
An irresistible smile slipped over my lips, "How lovely, two dukes. Good job, chancellor, you to Layla. Now, if you will excuse me, there seems to be a Knight of Twilight talking to my wife."
Teleporting before I heard any of their answer, much less gauge any of their reaction, I appeared within the room of Lilith, where I saw, Zilya speaking with Lilith. At the same time, Seraphina, Nyx, and Adrienne lay unconscious, skewed over the ground. Still, like the dead, my gaze lifted over the Knight of Twilight.
"Can you do that?" She said. Lilith glanced at me, chuckling, and nodded.
"It would be my honor." Said Lilith sending me a wink.
Tossing off my clothing without hesitation, Zilya glanced at me, rolled her eyes, and vanished, leaving me somewhat embarrassed even though this piece of ass wasn't for her anyway. "We doing this? It's been way, way too long."
"Not curious what that was about?" She asked, scanning me with misty amethyst.
"Not in the least. "
"We have a month, Arsene. No time for that, but something has happened." Lilith gravely said, but Lil Arsene was already up. Ready for war.
"I'm a ruler; trust me, we got time! I finally understand subspace, aka hyperspace. I can slow time to last a few hundred or so years." I said, glancing down at the two beings lying on the ground, "Plus, we have an unconscious audience. It's our duty, love.
"The arbiters are on the move." She said, and a string of information regarding their identity began to flow within my mind. "I have sent Hades, Melinoe, and Baphomet to Oblivion to gather some help, but Arsene, once we return from the Abyss, all hell will break loose."
Taking a seat over the bed, right behind Lilith, I nodded, "Sure, Sure," I said slowly, giving her a massage. Starting with her shoulders, Lilith melted almost instantly into my arms. Shuttering and moaning as I gradually wore her stress away, she continued.
"Arkanos survive."
"Hmmm,"
"I saw your brother."
Slipping off her clothing, I simply continued to hum as Lilith continued on and on as she informed me more and more about the war in The Bed of Chaos and the situation within Noctem. I peeled every last drop of clothing away as her hands slowly stretched for my lance. Facing out towards the patio, I stood behind Lilith as she took hold of me.
Letting her mild breathing turn to lustful heaving sounds as she stroked my lance, my fingers slipped from smooth, supple skin onto the bosom that could barely fit in my grasp. TIghting my grip, Lilith turned her head back, and our lips pressed against one another, locked in a hot passion of lust; the resistance Lilith held up slowly began to fade one by one till she suddenly pushed me down onto the bed.
"Sene," she said, twisting her body around with a bright smile that made my heart pound.
"I'm Pregnant."
