So that is the reason for Yu Jing's desperation for power. The power of creation held within those of the Overworld, how interesting. I wonder what type of place it is?
"How did the war end?"
Shaking her head dismissively, Yu Jing's expression dimmed, "Master did not say, just that time was running short."
"Yura, darling, what else do you know of the overworld?"
"From my inherit memories, I can say they are a land of pretty much humans, in a sense. At birth, they awaken the abilities of creation, allowing them to make anything they can imagine. It's a cheating ability that only grows with each generation."
"Generations? Oh, I see, they use their ability to evolve there young!"
"Indeed, their creation powers are different form using Laws itself, its more of an innate ability that pushes the very laws of the universe aside. But there are a few limitations. Such as evolution, adding a genetic code or other properties to themselves is not freezable without death, but on a budding life that has yet to be born, they can manipulate and add anything they please.
Dropping my jaw at the crazed power, a chill suddenly gripped my arms, as a profound realization hit me, "The overworld is a land of experimentation, isn't it."
"I do not know," said Lilith softly
"You may be right," uttered Yu Jing, crossing her arms together in a fold. "Form what master said, these monstered were abominations all appearing different than the last, carrying billions of foreign powers, people could not even begin to understand. Some held thousands of heads, with each of them holding a different element. "
Crossing just out the threshold of the city covered in water, I gazed back to the influx of people heading in and out while large cargo ships would head for port.
"I can see why I became a chosen, but that still doesn't explain why I need to be involved. I have zero ties to the Bed of Chaos. It will seem like Aiza and Aeron has their work cut out for them."
"YOU!"
Pushing ahead on the only road that wasn't surrounded by water, I led the way with all my majesty towards the north.
"Sene we—"
"Babe... babe, I am leading," I uttered with my head arched high.
"Papa, this is west!" The little traitor said, peering up at me with her large silver eyes.
"Nonsense, North, south, east, west, just simple terms trust me, and allow the second coming to guide."
"And now I'm up!" Lilith suddenly uttered, sharply pulling at my ear. She scuffed, "No way in hell. We are letting you lead. Even the child knows her left from her right better than you."
Bobbing her head up and down, Arkanos bore her childlike silver fangs, "Auntie is the best! Papa is dumb-dumb."
Stabbing at my heart, which was well missing from my chest, I teared up at the betrayal before my eyes, "I shall show you all one day! I Arsene Snow, Lord of Darkness, will prove himself to be the Great—"
"Shall we, girls?" Stated Yu Jing, pulling everyone away from me with a gloomy expression. " he is a bloody idiot."
Crossing my arms at the blatant disrespect, my eyes suddenly narrowed as I felt a profound intent flicker through the land. Blasting a storm of wind through the air, I stood firm as my dark semi ashen hair fluttered in the breeze.
Twisting my eyes off the girls, and towards the skies, more specifically within the City of Caisa. There laid a man no more than thirty, with his hands behind his back. Clad in traditional black and gold dragon robes. He held a boney face with hair that reached his chest.
"Duke Sultan," Whispered Yu Jing, reaching my side. She pulled at my sleeve, "We need to go before—"
"By order of the Sovereign of the Divine, Tian Wang, None are to leave. " Duke Sulton bellowed as a winged man appeared with long wings that stretched further than the wingspan of Arkanos. The angel smiled, gazing down at the city, as a power that had my very blood trembling running like fire exploded into the air sending the skies into a state of chaos.
Everything happened so quickly, but before I knew it, a golden mist had covered not just me but the entire city stretching further than I could even comprehend.
"Yael, The Soaring Soul," I solemnly muttered, having his name entire my head from my demonic heritage. Sending a glance to Lilith, who nodded grimly, we turned, picking up haste.
"From here on out, the Swords Coast shall be under quarantined, till his majesty the King, of the Divine, deems it safe. Traveling and Trade will be severed from this land!" Shouted Duke Sultan with a flourish of his robe before vanishing with Yael.
"You two will not be able to leave; the swords coast. They know you are on Alos but have no idea of how to track you." the voice of Levi-Chan hummed within my mind, " From what I can gather, it will seem someone threw out a theory of Abbadon Snow being Arsene. You do, after all, share the same sir name."
"I can change that fact easily. I have the limited power of Noctem, but I need to know the maximum power of what these rings can do. Can it affect someone of your level?"
"You and appearance are solid within my mind. The ring will not affect me, but it can affect another Arch-Angel or King if they have never set eyes on you themselves. The effect is slow, but I believe you are safe if you come into contact with Yael.
"Levithan," Uttered Lilith in a tone I had not heard in a long time, cold to the bone, the air froze, and the girls around her took a step back. "Who was it that made this so call connection?"
"it was only a rumor, but it was done by one you have already gone up against. The Prince of Hell, Drar'ethiul. One of his clones is upon Alos." Said Levithan solemnly.
"Abbadon," Yu Jing called to me.
"How are they tracking me?"
"One cannot rack darkness, but they can track any demonic signature you release. So I suggest you limit the number of demonic spells or contracts. Should you use just one, Yael will sense it."
Pulling out the Spear of Noctem, a devilish whisper hummed within my ear.
"My Prince," It called.
"My King," It roared.
"Darkness!" It howled.
"Than a devil within the Darkness, I shall be." I softly said, tearing my gaze from where I saw Yael.
