Ji Jin opened her eyes. She felt the coldness of the surroundings and the hard surface beneath her. Her face pressed against the cold floor. She gained proper consciousness and was aware of her state.
She lifted herself up but her hands gave up. She turned her head and saw a well built man sitting on the chair with his legs apart. His elbows propped on his knees whereas his chin propped on his hand. He was staring at the floor, not her.
His eyes seemed blank but the cold look on her face made her worry. She gave her surroundings a look. The grey concrete walls and a cold floor. The golden dim light made everything even more weird and frightening.
She gulped and looked at her hands. They were no longer tied. Her head ached and so did her body. She could feel the pain going from her feet all the way up her thighs. The back which was tensed maybe from bad posture and the hard floor.
