The town's people gathered were decidedly smaller than he had expected, of the number Gaia had called out for him, at least half of them were missing. Perhaps they were all still in their houses refusing to answer the call, but Asd didn't think that was the case, and if he had to be honest it worried him a bit. Orlekrin the elf mayor was gone, the only representatives present were Holko the human and James the asshole priest that Asd was currently finding a method to get rid of without incurring the curse of his god. But then again how dangerous can a curse from a god be anyway.
"What happened?" Asd asked, not at all hesitating to hide his surprise about the severe drop in population. It was Priest who stepped forwards to answer.
