The process itself would imbue the ore being refined with a unique sort of property that was unique to the mana being used, the end result should be tougher, lighter and purer ore than the norm, the process even had the added advantage of imbuing low circle ores like copper and iron with magical conductive properties. It wouldn't be the best, but it would be a complete transformation. Enabling to have a more extended form of use than what its formerly ordinary form could allow.
