Chapter 97 - Traps

Traps were as annoying as they came, and the first trap was triggered the very moment Asd stepped his foot across the threshold of the small hallway. A beam of light at neck height shot towards his direction, and it was only by the foresight of Calisto who dragged Asd backwards and down was he able to evade the attack that would have most definitely taken off his head. Asd shuddered in worry, as he took Gaia's warning even more serious. This was going to be a dangerous venture and going about it half assed would probably get him and the others killed. Asd raised the animal skin bag that was filed with blood, trying to figure out a way to evade the traps and figure out the right path to take. There were two alcoves, one directly at the end of the small hallway, and the others opposite each other at the end of both walls.
