Chapter 85 - Compensation

The next few days passed without any sort of event, Asd had successfully spent a better part of those days evading Professor Mona, until now that is. He was ignoring her, but with her hovering all over him it made it extremely difficult for him swallow what was in his mouth. Her presence in and out of itself was very annoying, but for some reason the woman had the ear of the emperor, so she wasn't the kind he could just kill and dump her body in the wilderness somewhere. Besides they were close to Tarshinka, which should at the very least be a change of pace for him and severe breath of fresh air that he desperately needs. With Gaia being capable of flying and landing the ship at her own discretion, Asd had nothing to do but focus wholly on the child, spending whole hours doing nothing but watching the little girl as she slept.
