As Janus exited the warehouse, there is a white van without a plate number waiting for him to get in, the person from earlier was the one that's driving the vehicle as Janus got in, he immediately told the driver about the address where the money and gold bars were and that made the driver turn his lips into a smile.
The driver was named "Jeremy" which actually means "God will uplift" as he believe that Janus was the one that will uplift him from the toxic lifestyle he was living and the one that will escape him from the slums.
Janus was located at the backseat of the van as he was looking outside; appreciating the beauty of the nature just like he always did, laying down his head to the mirror of the van and closed his eyes for a moment, as the vehicle were moving ahead to the destination where the treasure of Synergy company are hiding.
Still in the middle of the night where the moon shines the brightest, the people inside the 48-storey tower starts to come outside and preparing to get home were leaving them confused and worried about the condition of the CEO as what it showed them from earlier. The last man coming out is a man with the age for about 50+, has a tan-puckered face, wearing glasses, lightly bald hair wearing an expensive watch and formal attire, he was the manager from the recent project organized by Synergy. He was getting into a black company car accompanied by a driver, planning to go to the hospital owned by the company to visit the CEO as the incident happened.
It was until a beautiful woman with black silky-shiny hair, smooth facial skin, moistened lips, brown eyes and pointed nose wearing white formal attire and thinned-sexy body starts to touch the manager's arm saying.
"Excuse me manager, may I accompany you to go to the hospital? You are going to use the company car so why do we need to waste more fuel?" -Asked by the woman.
"Uhm ma'am tea-" - As manager replied.
"And also, there are also things that we need to talk about, so get in."
- Woman said before even the manager can finish his sentence.
The woman opened the door of her shiny black car with the logo of "Synergy" attached to its bumper as an indication that it is also owned by the company. As the manager came inside the vehicle followed by the beautiful lady and she starts to drive calmly as she drinks water while driving.
"Madam, what is it that you want to talk about?" - Manager asked.
"Oh, why are you thinking about that? What's important now is the condition of the CEO right? Or was there something you want to clear with me?" - Replied by the lady.
From calm speed getting into faster velocity, the manager starts to worried as it might cause an accident but the woman starts to talk about the expenses that the manager did while doing the project by the company like buying the other company's chemicals, acquiring the duty-free stores and building a new structural facility was told with the suspicious tone of the woman's voice. Acquiring the chemicals only costs "Q20,000,000" but bought it with the price of "Q24,000,000" as the reports told her so but asking the manager why is it was bought for more than 15% of its original price including other expenses. The manager starts to say dumb things of reasoning against the lady but it just made her angrier.
"Madam, it's not that I-" -He said.
"Why are you only calling me madam? Is it because I am younger than you and you don't give me that much respect huh Manager?" - The lady irritably replied.
"Director, I am sorry, but about the overpriced chemicals and other expenses, the bidders just expecte-"
-Before he even finished talking. The lady who was the director of the Synergy starts to get pissed more than what she acted earlier as the car were dangerously moving faster with other vehicles at the road were being overtook.
"You answered wrong, Mr. Manager, you're making me angrier, I know the things you did and what do you think will happen to you if you don't admit them to me now?" -Director wildly said.
It was until they almost got bumped into another vehicle, it was a yellow taxi, she stopped the car and opens the tinted windows just to tell to the driver of the taxi the words that can curse him to the eternal life of hell.
Suddenly, the director starts to drive again at high-speed but forgot what they are talking while the manager remained speechless, he was shocked, terrified and holding back his lips to say any words as she forgot it and focused on coming over to the hospital, but before they even get off the car as they reached the medical facility, she threatened the manager telling.
"Give back the 95% those you stole, if you don't want to rub your hands with the railings of the jail? I will let you have the 5% as your retirement fee so you can leave the company with honor. Now, get out!"
As she calmly told to him but with irritated manner and she starts to to get off to go inside of the medical center, she asked the nurses where the CEO room is but they told her that he was not confined here, asking the counter but answering her the same thing. She went to the rooftop using the elevator to calm her with fresh air and suddenly calls the lawyer who always assisted the CEO while her face was sweaty and her eyes are tired.
Janus and Jeremy reached the Bank, walking towards the entrance with security guards after getting off from the car, they were checked but immediately Janus showed the contract signed by the CEO of Synergy, the bank was also owned by that company. They start to get inside and told the Branch manager with pink suit and brown hair, a lady getting old with the same age as the manager from earlier was looking at Janus eyes suspiciously.
The facility was was filled with only few people including the employees and as soon as Janus smiled leaving only a quiet smirk, he hand over the contract that was signed by the CEO that tells about the secret passage, made the other employees leave the facility and let the people assigned were the only ones inside the bank.
The branch manager gave them the instruction that they must go to the basement, wrote the passwords from the first to third door of the secret room. All the people inside the building starts to prepare and left for about 10 minutes after the branch manager announced that there will be an urgent organized by the CEO. As only Janus, Jeremy and branch manager left inside, she asked the names of the ones that will get the gold and the money, until they reached the secret room and Janus typed the password for first door as it was opened slowly that indicated them the instructions were right.
Jeremy introduced himself to the branch manager while Janus was opening the second door but as soon as the door opened, Jeremy immediately knelt the lady's body that resulted her to lay down. She was trembling and confused while enduring the pain just to ask what those two are doing, Janus turned around and slowly looked at her eyes with a poker face, his hands were getting something from his pocket and a gun was brought out of it, he pointed a gun to the branch manager's head. She was begging for her life as she saw the pistol, her lips were shaking while her hands are touch the body due to the pain felt from Jeremy's knee but suddenly.
"BANG!"
The gunshot was loud as it shot the lady's head leaving her dead spreading the blood to the floor. Janus immediately hides the gun and got the cellphone from his suit pockets, typing something until it made a call to someone.
"Disable all the cameras, delete the footage and go to the airport after, make sure to get us a ticket too." -Said by Janus on the phone.
Jeremy is aware that the third or last door of the room was not able to be opened by the password given by the lady, the iris scanner that he managed to do with the CEO earlier was a great help as he pointed it to the eye-reader and made the last door open.
The room was filled with gold bars and Quanzo (Q), Lois currency. They are slowly walking inside as Jeremy was amazed and shock for what he was looking, as they reached the middle of the room where the pile of wealth in front of him was letting him to rub his hands to hem as Janus immediately commanded him to get the money bags he's carrying in his backpack.
They immediately throw the treasures inside the money bag but due to an imaginable number of the gold, it is still not enough to fill them all in, the rest of the wealth were hidden inside all the pockets they have in their clothes, while remaining ones were embraced by their left hands as they leave the establishment. Pouring all those into the white van, they returned the facility once again to let Janus carry the dead body of the branch manager into the secret room while Jeremy were cleaning the floor to leave it clean.
They locked the secret room while the cleaning materials was thrown inside the van to leave the evidence, Janus leave a resignation letter with the name of the branch manager was in the paper, putting it at the desk of the Human Resources Room.
They left the facility leaving no evidences about the incident happened, inside the car, Jeremy was laughing and dancing while driving due to immeasurable happiness because of the wealth they got. They are now going into their hideout where the other allies were waiting them to return, Janus was seen at the backseat again, slightly smiling while his eyes were closed seemingly happy for the mission that was done successfully.
"CEO is dead."
As the text message was read by the director from her cellphone sent by someone unknown, the number was untraceable like it was done by an advanced technology hacker, the address where the CEO is was also sent at the next message received and leaves her eyes wide open, shocked and teary. She was at the rooftop of the tower and immediately ran towards inside the building and used elevator while calling the guards and police to also go to the said address.
She drives so fast like there was no accident and other vehicles will make her worried more than the CEO, her face was the appearance of sadness, worry, anger, rush and many other emotions combined at a single person.
She reached the place and saw the warehouse as she immediately went inside due to worry for the CEO but left her shocked at the sight of her eyes that made the tears dropped and her body to lie on the floor while watching the person in front of her, unimaginable to the appearance of the CEO she used to see and sorrowfully screamed.
"FATHER!"
- She screamed with tremble while crying. The grief in her heart was close to something between complete sadness and emptiness.
Inside the white van, an image of a man was burning from the great fire was occurred in Janus' mind that made him open his eyes shockingly, breathing deep and made Jeremy worried as he looks at Janus.
For Jeremy, Janus was someone that saved him in the past and did all the things flawlessly.
For him, Janus is someone who is like God.
