"Uppa, am done with the exams, drop me at the library," Taaliyah told her father. She decided to go in the morning in order to avoid a person from the usual afternoon visit.
"Is it urgent?" Zahir asked his daughter back while getting ready to leave.
"Yes I want to read books," Taaliyah said firmly.
"Ok get ready fast," Zahir told her. It was a surprise to see him in a good mood.
"Okayyyy, thank you," Taaliyah felt happy and got ready quickly. She put on a simple cotton maxi dress and a denim jacket over the top. She took her side bag and remembered to take her membership card. She put on her sneakers and stepped out of the house. Her father was waiting for her.
"Fast come on," Zahir urged her.
"Done, done," she said and got on the vehicle.
"Hold on, " he said and kick started his bike.
Within fifteen minutes Taaliyah stood on the front gate of the library. She entered and waved at her father.
