The ring on the ring finger cut the skin on Derek's forehead and it started bleeding. Tim moved Derek away who stood helplessly and accepted everything coming on his way.
"Aunty, no," Min Ah shouted bringing Amy back to her senses. Amy was shocked to see what she has done. She took her hands back and began to cry.
"Derek," she called him. "I... I was not..."
"It's fine," Derek said and looked way.
"Ma is sorry, I did not," but Derek did not wish to listen to anything.
"I said am fine," he said and turned away.
"He is never going to talk to me," Amy began to cry again.
"He would not do such things, Derek is a sensible boy, he will understand don't worry," Tim consoled Amy. Derek's could feel the phone vibrating. He was sure that it would ve his father. But he dared not pick up.
