Chapter 167 - Rings

"My head … HURTS!" Ace shouted, walking around the backyard, barefooted and with only a robe on, nothing else underneath. The semi-wet grass with specks of dew on the leaves brushed against his ankles and the sole of his feet. 

It did not help that the wings on his back are not able to go in so he is just stuck with not being able to wear his robe properly, let alone even lay down properly. 

He walks around the backyard at the very crack of dawn, letting the cool air brush against his face before making his way to one of the trees in the backyard before leaning on the trunk and staring at the sky, pressing his aching temples. 

If she was here … she would have given me a pill and tried to tuck me back to bed. He thought, remember his sister's gentle hands on his aching head. Ugh. Hurts.

"Hmm?" The boy turned to the screen that appeared out of nowhere. "Oh, Luna. Sorry, did I disturb you?"
