Withdrawing his outstretched hand from the window, Alvian concentrated his focus to the steering of the car, gazing at the road.
His brows were furrowed deeply as he pondered. "How did he find me so quickly this time?"
Alvian was a bit puzzled because the way he had appeared was as though he knew exactly where he was.
It seems he needed to change his plans. It obvious that the player was somehow able to track him through some special means or an unknown method.
This made him remember the ability he had been given to sense patient zero within a kilometre radius. Which means there was the possibility of that player also having some other method to track him within a one kilometre radius too.
Suddenly, he seem to hear the sounds of countless birds buzzing. Slowing down the car, he placed his head outside the window and gazed at the distant sky.
What he saw wasn't any bird, it was a black helicopter, flying from distance.
At first, it was the size of a dot. But it was rapidly closing in and it seems to be heading in his dorection.
At first, Alvian thought it was just a coincidence but once he spotted the large TRE symbol at the side of the chopper.
Alvian immediately stomped down on the acceleration pedal, pulling up the handbrake, he drifted as the tires of the car screeched loudly.
The car switched directions to where he was coming from.
Pausing slightly, he immediately pulled back the handbrake and stomped down forcefully on the acceleration pad, jolting the car forwards with increasing velocity.
He didn't even bother to confirm if they really were there for him. He retreated immediately.
As the car was automatic, there was no need to change gears to much which saved Alvian a lot of time but there was no way a car like this could be faster than a chopper.
Alvian could hear the sounds of the chopper getting increasingly closer to him.
Squinting his eyes slightly, he abruptly made a sharp left, smashing through the zombies on the roads, avoiding the abandoned cars on the road as he entered through a street.
Behind him, the chopper that was behind immediately pulled back up to the skies, while also attempting a difficult turn to the left, chasing after Alvian.
Suddenly, Alvian grabbed the pistol from his waist and pointed his hands outside the glass window of car.
Time seem to pause for a moment when a loud bang echoed from the car.
The bullet tore through the air as it immediately hit the propeller of the helicopter.
But the bullet bounced off as though the kinetic energy within it wasn't enough to do enough damage.
The distance between them was just too far. And if he waited for the chopper to get closer enough and pulled the trigger, causing an accident, the chopper might just accidentally crash into car as the crashing spot was just too random for him to calculate it.
But that was if the person was normal in the first place.
As Alvian continued to race through the streets with the car, the sound of the helicopter suddenly started to get farther and further.
Alvian frowned. He was about to check what was happening from the window when he suddenly saw the chopper flew right past him and immediately blocked the road he was intending to take. There was no other option for him than to pull the brakes least he crashed into the helicopter.
Alvian scoffed at their naivety. Did they think they were playing with some kid.
He didn't stop the moving car and instead accelerated even more, as though intending to crash the car into the chopper.
The faces of the people inside the chopper changed and the captain of the tactical team shouted to the pilot.
"Pull up this instant!" his voice was full of force and held a tone that leaves room for no argument.
"Yes sir!" The pilot didn't need to be told twice amidst the loud propeller noises, immediately pulling up the chopper, avoiding the collision of both the car and the helicopter by just a meter.
If he had hesitated for a few seconds, there would have been loud explosion by now.
John's face was solemn as he stared at Bradley. Who was seated on one of the seats in the helicopter. "You didn't see it fit to Inform us of what sort of insane person we are dealing with?"
Bradley sneered and didn't shy away from the intimidating glare of the captain of the tactical team, John.
"My only job is to find the person that could locate the patient zero, it's up to you to capture him, and as for him being insane, It's nothing you claim your team couldn't handle anyway." Bradley waved off the captain and gazed at the car moving on the ground through the opened door slide of the chopper.
John glared at Bradley "Your usefulness has been expended and your service would no longer be needed. As soon as this mission ends, our cooperation likely ends there." With that, he gave a command to his five team members.
"Shoot down that car."
"Alright cap."
A guy with a bald head a dark skin said and immediately took out the Fz-950 from behind him.
The sniper was a very long weapon and seemed to be even a little heavy.
The dark skinned man moved to the edge of the door and sat down one the ground, supporting his body with the landing metal stand of the chopper.
Opening the scope, he placed the gun on his shoulder and inhaled heavily as the tire of the vehicle moving carelessly in the distance appeared in his line of sight.
There wasn't a moment of hesitation, he immediately pulled the trigger.
"Bang!
A loud Bang echoed as a large bullet almost the size of three fingers exited the muzzle and spin as it headed for it's target.
The Sniper gun jolted backwards in a massive recoil, almost dislocating the dark's man arm from his shoulders.
Immediately the shooting sound reached Alvian's ears. He scowled as he mumbled "A Sniper?"
In the moment, he heard another loud sound, the sound of an explosion and that of an inflated balloon blown apart.
