While they weren't worried about him dying, due to Zhen Liu having an unusually resilient body, they were worried about any psychological effects.
The moment they realized that their Lord was of Otherlander stock, like one of their previous ones, they made sure to brush up on any and all issues that could pop up with them.
Otherlanders were one of those secrets that were recorded but only known to a select few, and those select few recorded that Otherlanders could get...weird.
