An observation of a [Breakdown] by ••••, Kaijin Lord of the ••• era.
If I had to compare a kaijin [Breakdown] to anything, the most accurate comparison would be to Alzheimer's.
Unlike Alzheimer's though, where a person eventually forgets how to function altogether and die from being unable to remember how to breath, drink or eat, when a kaijin fully breaksdown, they become a mindless beast that can't do anything other than eat and destroy.
As to why they get like this...I have a theory: memories.
Memories are what determine who someone is, kaijin, mortal, aether beast, it doesn't matter.
Depending on what memories that someone develops overtime and what memories they hold on to, that collection is what determines who someone is as a person.
This, however, is a little different to kaijin.
Mortals, even if they forget big chunks, still remember certain key things about themselves.
That they're alive, that they're human, et cetera.
