The Mugami Clan, a clan known for its prowess in battle, especially in hand-to-hand combat. In the Ancient Era, it was said the members of the Mugami Clan were warriors that would charge forward without a single thought of retreating. Death may come, despair may hold my heart, and torment forever by my side but I will never flee from battle, this was the mantra of the Mugami Clan.
Among all the other martial arts clans the Mugami Clan believes in strength more than anything else. This is why the selection of the next head of the Clan is given to the strongest of each generation, and the way they determine who is the strongest among them is by survival.
When the head of the clan feels that he is almost near the end and his strength could no longer hold, the clan head will pick a time when he would pick the next head. During this period while waiting for the appointed day all of the younger generation at the age below twenty-five are eligible to be chosen.
