Loki was on his knee stabilizing his breathing, that last assault he made consumed a lot of stamina and mana. The power of the evil spirit was tremendous but its overall skill was that of a child. In front of Loki, the evil spirit was simply a child holding the sharpest blade one hit could've killed Loki, but of course, that was under the premise that it could hit Loki.
It had lived for a century accumulating power but it did not know how to use it, nor did it expect to have faced a human being like Loki who could use mana in a world that uses inner energy. It thought it was the predator but it turned out it was prey.
Loki had heard of distortions and had seen a few evil spirits but this was the first time he had actually defeated one.
After defeating the evil spirit the distorted mana disappeared, it was at this moment something weird happened.
