There was no response for a few seconds on the other end of the transmission, but Hyde's voice soon asked. Nikolai knew that the criminal overlord was not too cautious because he was confident.
"It seems you are expecting my arrival."
"Indeed, we have a history that you don't know," answered Nikolai as he gazed at the far horizon. "I have yet to receive you inside my dungeon. Are you scared?"
"A man with so many enemies needs to be cautious," replied Hyde. "I want to make sure that I know the dungeon well to prepare beforehand. After all, I want this spirit."
"I already have my eyes on a different candidate," announced Nikolai, and the other end was silent. "I know that you are inside the ruins now, and I know that Icarus is one of your men."
"You are hardworking, even inside a different dimension. So what do you want from me, dungeon master?"
