When I opened my eyes, Healia was sitting beside me, and we were still in the cave. This had to be a memory, but I don't ever remember Lesha dying, but I wouldn't.
"How are you feeling? Did you get your memories back?" Healia asked me, but I shook my head no.
No matter how hard I tried, I couldn't find a memory of this moment, but I knew this place. Dave told me about this and the reason before we entered the game.
"So, one thing I should tell is that all Deaths in the game of actual Players like any of you or the girls will be erased. If one of you dies, the game is restarted. If one of the girls dies, you will still be able to complete it, and they will be in the next game, but you will have no memory of it. The system isn't perfect, but it's the best that I can do to keep us all sane. Watching the ones you love die is not something anyone should have to do, but it will happen."
