"We're all off the hook now. All of us except for you," Lila laughs softly facing Thana who sat beside her after she had finished cleaning up her part of the counter, and had arranged the pantry after the messy rush. Thana nodded at the obviosity but smiled back at her.
"Do you want to know something? About what I have observed during your dinner last night," Lila started a conversation which Thana did not really want to engage on because she was worn out. But she thought that by talking, it would distract her from the body ache she was feeling.
The kneading of dough and whisking really took most of Thana's energy and it also tested her endurance. Her arms ached much more with her tight dress; the fabric was tight along the sleeves. She knew that she could really do most of the work around the kitchen with ease if she was dressed more comfortably.
