There seemed to have been no right words to say after hearing about the agonizing experience Thana went through. The only thing that was going on in Teresa's mind was the act of pulling the poor broken girl into a warm embrace. She hoped that through her touch, Thana would be reminded that she was no longer alone.
Teresa was willing to be a shield to all her nightmares for she knew how badly Thana endured sleepless nights. She wanted to be Thana's friend; someone she can learn to rely on and to let her know that she was no longer alone with her battles.
The war Thana had fought with all her might had finally ended. Although there were scars that would serve as a reminder for all her living days, it could also be a reminder of the warrior Thana had in her. It was now time for healing, and it was a time for change.
"You were very brave. You are one strong person," Madam Teresa spoke out. Her voice was soft with empathy.
