No one dared to speak a word. Szeina had no plans to break her silence unless Hunter broke his first.
Upon coming back to the camp, he called her to join him in his tent. They were to talk about certain things. Though she wanted to say no, her curiosity got the better of her.
Underneath his mask, Szeina was really curious about what he was hiding. It covered half of his face.
Was it a scar? Burnt skin?
She couldn't tell. The surrounding skin outside the mask was smooth. There was no other indication which would give her a clue of what he was trying to conceal.
Several minutes later, Hunter cleared his throat.
"You look well," Szeina gave out a snort. She felt like she was back at Xeruz's study, the two of them needing to have that 'talk.'
"Considering that I'm drenched, I think so, yes. I'm alright."
"I'm sorry about that."
"Oh, no thanks. I'd stay in my clothes anyway than wear another tribal thing."
