"Seriously?" Raegan exclaimed. A bridge lay in front of them. It was a frail looking one.
Bones of differing shapes and sizes, most likely coming from various animals, were tied together, held by a thin thread. It swung and made some rickety noises every time a wind passed by.
Falling down was not an option. A dark abyss awaited them from far below.
"Will that even hold our weight?" Laura sounded skeptical. She looked about ready to run all the way back.
The blood from her face had completely left her.
"There's no way to tell unless we try." Szeina encouraged, taking the first step only to be stopped by someone grabbing her by the arm.
Neyandro pulled her away from the bridge.
"I'll go first." he volunteered. Szeina rolled her eyes at his act of chivalry.
"Show off." She mumbled, watching him tentatively putting his weight on the makeshift bridge made of bones.
