"Please." It echoed all around Yvann. A familiar voice, a voice he'll never forget.
Suddenly getting on his feet, he looked from left to right, the beach slowly fading from his background.
He found himself standing in the darkness. A lone light shone above his head, illuminating him amidst the shadows.
A few distances away from him stood a girl with blonde hair, the same lone light shining brightly on top of her head.
Her shoulders shook as if she was crying. Her gentle sobs slowly registered in his hearing, pushing him to take careful steps towards her.
With his heart on his throat, Yvann lessened the distance between him and the crying girl.
"Szeina?" He called, uncertain whether it was really her. His heart thundered violently inside his chest.
Yvann watched her turn to him, her piercing eyes freezing him in place. The bluish hue he didn't know he'd missed until at that moment had him to stagger.
