Szeina couldn't believe her ears. She tried to brush Yvann's response, but to no avail. The beating of her heart resonated in her ears and she was sure that if anyone stood near her, they would surely hear it.
"Break time is over." Hunter called out. This allowed Szeina to have the distraction she needed.
"I don't know why you're jealous, but Seth is not my werewolf admirer." She clarified, bumping against Yvann's shoulder as she walked past.
Yvann took a deep breath and followed behind. He still kept his distance, realizing that he confessed to Szeina.
Even though it was an indirect one, still, he admitted he was jealous. That was enough for her to know how he was feeling towards her.
He didn't even realize that it was what he was feeling until he said it out loud.
Casting his eyes somewhere else, Yvann busied himself looking at his surroundings and tried not to think of what had transpired between him and Szeina.
