Yvann watched her smile and pretended she didn't almost have a breakdown earlier. There were a lot of things in her mind, and he wished he had the capability to know what they were.
Unfortunately, he was just a nobody who happen to be in love with her.
When dinner was over, he walked with her towards her room and bade her goodnight. Instead of going back towards his room, though, which was just close to hers, he went back to her tree and sat on where they had been before Neyandro disrupted them.
He let the cool breeze sway and send shivers through his skin. Yvann looked at the stars and wondered how his family was doing.
They surely thought that he was already dead. Any mortal would easily think that. He said he was just going out for some fresh air. However, he didn't know he won't be able to come back after that.
He missed his little brother, Zoe.
