Szeina held her breath. Sweat had trickled down the side of her face. She can't lose now. Not now, not ever.
She narrowed her gaze, holding the dart steady before making an aim and letting it fly towards the red circular target that hung above Laura's head. A balloon was sitting in the middle.
Pop!
"Aaahhh!!" pink paint splashed all over Laura, it soaked through her plain white shirt, dripping down her hair. Szeina giggled, exchanging high fives with Raven.
Their small group had gathered around one of the abandoned rooms which Micah had found on one of his 'explorations'. They made it into their gaming room and sanctuary when they wanted some peace.
There were tables available and broken but functional chairs. The walls used to be plain but bit by bit they kept on making it into their own, taping wallpapers of random things, photos, and wall games like darts.
