The first thing he noticed was the woman who stood out from their little crew and the usual head turner of the group was missing.
Micah squinted his eyes to take a better look at the same woman who was dressed in a dark blue gown. She had her head bowed so he couldn't really make out what she looked like. Her hair covered her face, but he could tell that she wasn't wearing any mask.
Sensing his stare, the woman glanced his way, but Micah was wise enough to hide behind the wall. He was on his way to use the comfort room when he heard the brief commotion from the lounge area he knew was close to where the restrooms were.
He let a minute pass before he took another peek and found that they were already gone. Finding it odd, he thought it over and decided there was nothing he had to lose.
Following his gut, he tracked down the path where he believed they had taken. It surprised him to find that there was such a secret passage he never knew about.
