The veil shimmered in front of her. Because of her back being exposed, Szeina can't help but shiver against the chilly wind that had her biting her lips.
But she had no plans of backing down.
She already had herself invested in this. To add, she and Slayer had things to settle. She won't let him get away with that trick. He even used Yvann.
"How dare he." She muttered, clenching her hands into fists. This time, she had no plans to let him win. No matter what happened, she was determined to stop him.
Watching intently as ripples appeared on the shimmering veil, Szeina took a step back, bracing herself. There was nowhere to hide around there. She would have used that to her advantage. Hiding too far away would defeat the purpose.
Waiting for the duo to cross over, she put on a stance, willing to fight by fist if it comes to that. Although, she wasn't really skilled in fist fights.
