The prickling of her skin distracted Szeina. She merely stared at Seth, unable to say anything in response to him.
Her head turned towards the double doors that slowly opened, revealing the person responsible for her sudden uneasiness.
Their masks covered their faces securely, but despite that, Szeina could never be wrong.
Her heart started racing. However, oddly enough, no one batted an eye towards Slayer and Ajaxx entering the palace.
"It's them, isn't it?" Laura appeared on Szeina's other side, her eyes following where Szeina was looking.
Their small crew seems to be the only ones witnessing the entire scenario with clenched hands and hearts wrenching. Each of them was afraid to look away. With Ajaxx around, there was no telling what would happen.
The irony of it was that Ajaxx was also wearing a midnight blue dress. It glittered and had gathered the attention of the people she passed by.
