Szeina folded her arms over her chest. She made sure she had her seat belt on and an earplug. Listening to what Granola has to say wasn't how she wanted to spend her day today.
She was grateful for the excuse of the trip; she didn't have to bear the burden of needing to talk with the people who still considered her family but still maintained their closed mouths.
Queedor was in the driver's seat. Granola sat beside him. Neyandro put on his earphones and was also looking out on the other side of the window.
The silence stretched inside the car and after a few minutes, Szeina blew out a sigh.
She pulled the earphones out and glared at the two in the front. If her stare could burn holes, it would have burned right through their seats.
"So we're never really going to talk about what happened between us?"
Granola glanced at Szeina.
"I guess we do."
Neyandro pulled out his earphones, too.
"Finally."
