Szeina lay awake. Sleep was not her friend for tonight, or maybe it was already morning.
With no way to tell the time, her restlessness only increased every passing minute. She turned and stared at Yvann's sleeping form. His back was to her.
For the past few days with him, Szeina was beginning to realize something, and it left her uncertain if she should be thrilled or if she should start worrying.
Finally giving up on the idea of sleeping, Szeina got on her feet. She tiptoed her way to the opening of the tent and carefully extracted herself from there.
When she finally made it out, she blew out a sigh of relief. The camp was pretty silent now that everyone was asleep.
She thought that because she's partly not human; she didn't need to rest. However, it was the thing they actually needed.
