Laura and Raven sat beside Szeina and Yvann inside the tent they were assigned to use. The latter was fast asleep in a makeshift bed made of wood.
He did hurt his lower back and had to get enough rest in order to fully recover. His ankle got fractured.
If they were in the normal world, he'd be required to stay put for an entire week. So, partly, Szeina was a little relieved that he didn't have to be bedridden for a week. They don't have that much of time to spare.
"Not wanting to be rude or anything but, it's good that you both finally decided to join us." Szeina expressed. The two had been aloof ever since the rescue.
Not that she really mind, but it would have lessened her overthinking that she might have scared them off.
Laura smiled sheepishly at Szeina, biting down on her lower lip.
