Ava and Paris knew that they hadn't let their daughter go on the trips she wanted to go on. Paris got a pen out, and he signed the slip form as he spoke. "We are going to let you go on this trip, and we have something to say to you as well." Paris gave Belle Rose the slip form, and she placed it in her school bag with the information. Belle Rose knew that it would be about Ayers, and she held her school bag close to her as she stared at her parents with no smile on her face.
Paris and Ava thought their daughter would be happy with what they were about to tell her. However, Belle Rose showed no emotions, and Ava said. "We have arranged a day for..." Belle Rose quickly stood up as she didn't want to hear any more of what her mother was about to say, and she interrupted her mother.
"Forget it because I will not marry him. You want to spend more time with each other when you are already doing it, and THIS IS MY LIFE! I WANT TO DO WHAT I WANT TO DO INSTEAD OF DOING THINGS THAT YOU WANT ME TO DO, AS I AM NOT 16 YEARS OLD! I AM 22YEARS OLD, AND IF YOU TWO ARE CARRYING ON TREATING ME LIKE A 16-YEAR-OLD RATHER THAN 22 YEARS OLD! I WILL NOT TALK TO YOU NOR LISTEN TO WHATEVER YOU HAVE TO SAY, AND YOU CAN TELL AYERS THAT THE WEDDING IS OFF AS WELL AS HE HAS TO FIND SOMEONE ELSE INSTEAD OF ME!" Belle Rose stormed upstairs with her school bag, and she slammed her bedroom door shut.
Paris and Ava know that Belle Rose is not pleased with what they are doing to her. So Belle Rose quickly texted Mrs Sprocket, and Mrs Sprocket phoned her back. Mrs Sprocket is worried about Belle Rose, and she (Mrs Sprocket) spoke through the phone. "Your parents have allowed you to go on the trip, but then they tried to tell you that they have arranged a day for you to marry Ayers."
Belle Rose nodded her head, and she replied. "I knew straight away that they were about to talk that they have arranged a day about me marrying him when I seriously don't want to. I showed no emotion towards them, and they straight away thought that I would be happy when I wasn't. I have lost my temper with my parents, and I don't know what to do now."
Mrs Sprocket knew that Belle Rose didn't want to be with her parents anymore, and she knew that she could speak to Mr Godwin tomorrow as she suggested. "I will speak to Mr Godwin tomorrow for any advice, and we will take it from there. But you have to be careful as we have no idea what they may do to you tomorrow and if you can. So get up early before your parents do and come to my house with your school bag and some clothes. Or pack some clothes now and come round. I have asked Mrs Vary when the school trip is going to be, and she has told me that it is this week coming up."
Belle Rose heard the front door opening and closing. Belle Rose raced to the window, and she saw her parents leaving the house in the car. Mrs Sprocket heard something going on in the background, and she asked. "What is going on at your house, and what is the commotion?"
Belle Rose spoke through the phone, and she said. "My parents have just left, and I don't know where they are going. Shall I pack a suitcase as well?" Mrs Sprocket nodded her head, and she replied. "I think that you should do, and my husband will pick you up. I will see you when you get here, and don't tell anyone at your house where you are going."
Belle Rose nodded her head, and she answered. "I won't, and I'll see you when I arrive at your house." Belle Rose hangs up, and she packs a suitcase. Belle Rose got all of her money and her passport. Belle Rose checks her suitcase as she places two sketchbooks, two cases of colouring pencils, a clear glass jar, some paintbrushes, some paints, and she knows that she has everything that she will need. Belle Rose placed her passport in her school backpack, and she took her school backpack, an overnight bag, and the suitcase.
Belle Rose turns the lights off as she leaves her bedroom and walks out of her house with her head held high. The servants didn't see her go nor hear her closing the door behind her as they thought that she was still in her bedroom, and they decided to find out on the day that her parents were coming back from where they were going. However, they will find Belle Rose's bedroom empty, and she is not in her bedroom or the house at all.
Belle Rose strode away from peering eyes from her parents' house as she feared that the servants were looking outside of the house, and she walked to the garden line between her house and Mrs Sprocket's home. She meets Mrs Sprocket's husband, Rocket, and takes her to his house. Rocket knows what is going on with Belle Rose's parents, as Mrs Sprocket has informed him as she wants to keep him up to date and loves Belle Rose as a daughter.
Mrs Sprocket got a bedroom ready for Belle Rose, and she welcomes Belle Rose with open arms. Belle Rose knew that she had to show her parents that Ayers would not have her as his wife and find the man of her dreams. Belle Rose also see that she has to offer her parents that she is not 16 years old anymore, and they have to treat her like an adult rather than a child. Belle Rose had food with Mrs Sprocket and Rocket.
