Who was calling me? What in the world was happening?
"please, please wake up!"
The voice became clear, and in a matter of seconds, the name landed on me. It was Catherine's voice.
My eyes snapped open despite the smashing pain at the back of my head.
My eyes found Catherine, and her face brought me back to reality more quickly than anything else.
"Wa—" I winced, "what?" it was only what I could get out of my mouth. It hurt to say anything else.
