Catherine stopped talking and inhaled loudly before a cheeky smile to her face. "Food."
I chuckled and pinched her cheeks. "Yes, my little sparrow. Food. Are you ready to eat?"
"Yes!"
Receiving her answer, I turned to the guard, standing next to the door of the dining room and nodded to him. They opened the doors, and we walked in.
Tristan was already sitting at the head of the table, but stood up the moment he heard the sound of the door.
He walked towards Catherine first, and held his hand out like anyone would as a gentleman with fine upbringing.
"Princess Catherine," his faintly kissed her knuckles, "I am honoured to meet you."
My sister immediately turned to me. The only thing I could say was that she was flabbergasted with the way Tristan spoke. I did not blame her one bit before that. Not when I knew that he could have a way with them when he wanted.
