"Huh," Mrs Walter nodded in a daze, " that is quite… something."
"Yes." I nodded, hoping to hear more from her. "What do you think about it?" I asked, slightly breathless.
When she asked me about what was going on, I replayed each and every event to her without taking a breath in between.
Everything that happened was told to her in the order of it. From the time that I felt being watched, to the time where I saw him behind the back door and then in front of my window along with how I suspected that he was the one who had dropped the dead body of the deer on our porch.
That had happened a few minutes ago. Mrs Walter had taken at least five to six minutes to digest the information and I was still waiting for her to comment on it.
That might have been one of the longest periods of times that I had to wait for. Because of what she said, I waited in anticipation for acceptance of what was happening with me.
